In January, our team had the wonderful opportunity to present our charitable work to the government of Chhattisgarh state, where we operate.
We were put forward for this occasion by our wonderful and generous friend, Dr. Jargar. Dr. Jargar works at Raipur hospital and is always reliable to look after our patients as best as he can.
After learning about our projects, the leaders of Chhattisgarh state expressed genuine interest in our work. We are hoping that - pandemic restrictions permitting - we can welcome them on site soon to show them in more detail how our team support the local population.
As a generous sign of their gratitude and support they decided to sponsor a brand new patient transport vehicle for The Tulsi Trust. This is to complement the 4x4 ambulance which especially in times of restricted private mobility, has been very busy throughout.

Whilst the jungle wise 4x4 is employed picking up patients from difficult to access villages, the new vehicle will add more capacity to transport the patients from our base to various hospitals in the area.
The whole team would like to express their deep gratitude to everyone who has made this possible. It will truly make a huge difference to our capacity to serve the community.
