This month, our Medical Camp Program was written about in an Indian Newspaper. It's very exciting to see that people are interested in our work, and we are so happy that all our hard working members and generous volunteers in Chhattisgarh are getting the recognition they deserve!

On Monday September 10th The Tulsi Trust arranged a medical camp in village PV 65, Hari Nagar.
There were three Doctors from Bhilay and Raipur present.
Dr. med. Minz, and his wife, Dr. GP Minz, from Bhilay. And Dr. Ado, children specialist from Raipur. These Doctors are very glad to volunteer their expertise for this great cause.
From the Tulsi Trust ashram base our team consisted of Uttam Dada, Mr. Nimai, Dr. Devashish, Miss Farul, Miss Nitu, Srimati Anjeli, Mr. Amal, and Mr. Prashant, who are all experienced in our medical programs.
135 patients, women, children, and men, were treated during the course of the day. The majority of patients suffers from common symptoms like high blood pressure, excema, fever, colds, or coughs.
There was also some people tested and treated for diabetes, and many of the lady patients suffer from malnutrition and aenemia.
For this program, it was arranged for ladies to be seen in a separate room, in order to give them privacy and confidence to share their questions and problems.
People were tested for high blood pressure, diabetes, malaria, and other, treated for their symptoms, but also advised on proper hygiene and diet.
For this pop-up clinic, The Tulsi Trust was hosted by Mr. Santosh Mistry, village head and elder, who was very pleased about the outcome of the program.
