Trustee Sally just returned from a visit to the Tulsi Trust base in the jungle of central India.
As a trustee, she is closely interested to observe the local team's progress and success, and as a nurse, she has a professional outlook on the Trust's medical work and facilities.

Sally says: "They are doing amazing!" Even though the team had to deal with the recent loss of their longtime project leader and manager, they are all working doubly hard to ensure all aspects of the Trust are running as usual.
Sally, a close friend of the recently passed Vijay Krishna, was relieved to be able to visit his family and share her condolences personally.

Meanwhile, work in Chhattisgarh continues. The British visitors were received with much cordial hospitality. Aside from helping out with several pop up clinics and visiting Bengali and Adivasi villages in the area, Sally and her friend Jackie also visited a the state run hospital in Bande, of which she had only the best impression. - "It was immaculately clean, very high standard!"
They also held meetings with medical professionals and investors to discuss future projects of The Tulsi Trust, and recruit volunteers and financial support for the regularly held local day clinics in the jungle.

"I am very proud of our team!", beams Sally. "They are doing a great job, and things are getting better all the time, thanks to their personal enthusiasm and hard work every day."
The little school that The Tulsi Trust runs in the jungle is seeing more and more students as earlier years move on to middle school. Two new classrooms have been built and more are in planning. During Sally and Jackie's visit, the older children had an exciting day of going off to the next biggest town to take their state exams.
